Whiskey Six Tactical - Course catalog

Florida's Concealed Weapon or Firearm License (CWFL) is accepted by 37 other states. Additionally, having a CWFL at the time of a handgun purchase will waive the 3 day waiting period. This class is designed for those looking to meet the State of Florida requirements to obtain a concealed carry license. Topics will include Safety, Licensure Requirements Legal Aspects, Mindset, Deployment and Live Fire. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate to apply for a Florida CWFL. 

Florida is now a permit-less carry state, so while a concealed weapons license is no longer required in Florida, carrying a firearm in public comes with a great deal of attached responsibility. Not knowing the law can put good folks in legal jeopardy. This class is intended to teach people the limitations of permitless carry, and how to navigate the law regarding the carrying of concealed weapons. Topics will include Safety, Legal Aspects, Mindset, Carry Options, Deployment and Live Fire. 

Our Basic Pistol Course is designed to teach the fundamental knowledge, skills and attitude for owning and operating a pistol in a safe and confident manner. The course is a combination of classroom and range instruction. Topics include Safety, Mechanical Operation, Gun Handling,  Ammunition Use, Stance & Grip, Marksmanship Fundamentals, Loading and Unloading and Live Fire.  This is a good introductory class for anyone looking to learn the basics, or refresh faded skills. 

Our Intermediate Pistol Course is designed to build on the foundation of the Basic Course. Students will incorporate new skills and be introduced to the principals of armed combat. Topics include: Drawing from concealed, Movement, Cover and Concealment, Speed and Tactical Reloading, Transitions, Off-Hand Shooting, Correcting Malfunctions, Challenge Commands, Scanning and more!  Enrolment in this course requires successful completion of the basic course, or a similar level of prior training.

This situational shooting course is perfect for those who want to learn how to use firearms to defend against real world threats. Students will be taught the skills necessary to make split-second lethal force decisions, and be taught the principals and mechanics of armed combat. This is an advanced course offered to students who have successfully completed the Intermediate Pistol Course, or a similar level of training.

 This introductory class is designed to teach the basics of running the AR-15 rifle. Students will learn Operation & Function, Loading & Unloading, clearing Malfunctions, Ammunition Type & Use, Zeroing the Sights / Optic, Basic Rifle Marksmanship, Carry and Deployment, and Breakdown, Cleaning & Maintenance. A $20 range fee is included in the cost of the class. Students will need approximately 100 rounds of ammunition (not included) 

Whiskey Six offers private coaching sessions for individuals and couples. This personal training experience is tailored to the skill level of the student, and is an ideal option for those who have experience, but feel they need a refresher.

Whiskey Six is a Florida Class K training provider. We offer initial training and certification to Florida Class G security license applicants, and annual training and re-qualification to current G License holders. Please see the Registration page for class schedule and pricing.
